I’ve had mine for 20 years and it’s a workhouse! I have all the attachments which are an absolute necessity! I made bread every week...this mixer has paid for itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] just purchased this machine to replace my 600 pro. I can tell you the first thing I noticed was quietness. Its amazingly whisper quiet. I made over 250 Ravioli with the pasta roller. I dont use the ravioli maker its useless. Dont buy that. However the roller set is awesome. Machine didnt bog down for anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd KitchenAid mixer. The first I got for Xmas from my husband 30+ years ago. My husband thought I needed an upgrade and he was right. I love everything about this mixer especially the size. I will keep my other one to use for smaller batches, but this one is on my counter to be used for another 30 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the ultimate stand mixer! It is large enough to mix whatever you wish and simple to operate and clean. My original tilt-top Kitchen Aid mixer who was 20+ years old and still working perfectly went to live with my sister. I love the powerful and quiet DC motor. Yea!!! This will be the last mixer that I ever have to buy!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the classic mixer & love it but its on its last leg. I just started to make bread & knew I needed something bigger & with a bigger motor. This fit the bill. Great machine, mixes well, doesn't struggle with the heavy dough. And it even is the same height as my old one & fits nicely under the kitchen cabinets.

Really Disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Kitchenaid 4.5 QT Mixer now for 38 years. That's right. What a wonderful mixer it still is. I wanted something a little more capable and stronger for my sourdough breads that I am now making; Even though, my mixer is still capable of handling the job fairly well. So, I bought this new 7QT mixer and couldn't wait to get it. Once I got it, I had to test everything out. Made up my first bread dough and when I started to use the paddle to mix my ingredients in, it made a very annoying clicking noise. This was even more pronounced when I changed to the dough hook. I tried to figure out where all the clicking was coming from, and figured it was the way the attachments hook up to the pin. They don't go on tight and just sit kind of loose. My old mixer has a spring to keep the attachments tight on the pin. I don't know what else it could be, as I don't think it is coming from the motor gears. Just seems too much slop around the spindle and pin causing the attachments to click. Don't really know for sure. The other thing was that the paddle hits the side of the bowl at speeds 5 and above. This caused some scraping marks around one area of the bowl. Adjusting the paddle up or down does not fix this. It appears that something isn't in spec. Now, I will say that after making my bread dough for two loafs, it did a wonderful job. No straining or moving around. Great mixer. I was really impressed with the finished product. I really wanted to keep the mixer as the clicking noise seems to be common, although annoying. Hitting the side of the bowl, would just start scuffing the paddle and I'm sure after time it would wear the finish off. So, I decided to send it back for a refund. I really wanted this mixer, but not sure I want to try another one just to get disappointed again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely Love It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older 7qt commercial Kitchenaid Stand Mixer and recently purchased this one as my old one needs a new switch. Best purchase I've made from Kitchenaid! It's awesome and so quiet yet powerful! I use it mainly for speciality sourdough breads and it goes through the recipes with no problem and so quickly!
