A little disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the K5 for 40 years but it was SO LOUD that it was unpleasant to use. That was the primary reason for purchasing a new machine. The new 7 qt pro model is quieter...but NOT THAT MUCH QUIETER, so I am disappointed. Also awkward pouring shield that doesn’t fit securely on bowl.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great powerful mixer

I can mix the dough for 2 or even 3 loaves of bread. I use it to power the Kitchenaid grain mill and sifter. I get great tasting bread this way. I also have the meat grinder. As with all appliances, be sure to get this serviced after a few years of use to maintain proper performance. Follow the instructions for using the grain mill. Pay attention to the sifter to make sure it does not stop sifting due to particles stuck to the sifter mechanism. Previously, I had the Artisan mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 months ago, I already had one but needed 1 for my 2nd home.
I definitely upgraded for a more power- we make a lot of breads.
I have to say it’s a pain to get the bowl on and off.
It also does not make sense that I have to detach the mixer attachment, let them t drop in my mix to get the bowl off.
I wish it lifted up like my other one.
Not worth the extra money, more of pain than anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
