Was great... Until it fell off the counter

So so excited about upgrading to this model. First double batch chocolate chip cookies was great. Then I tried to make bread, turned my back for two minutes (I had a timer) and it fell off the counter. Too afraid to see if it works still. Literally devestated. Doubt warranty covers walking aways from what should have been a no brainier.

It is a workhorse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mixer as a gift after having a 5qt KitchenAid mixer for 22 years! I do just about everything thing with my mixer to include cakes, bread, pasta, grind meat, strain fruit for canning, and make ice cream. It is one of the most important appliances in my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mixer because of the DC motor, I make bread and bagels and needed a mixer that would hold up to heavy doughs.
Both of the mixers that I returned would not mix even cake or cookie dough as the beater did not meet the bottom of the bowl. The adjustment screw would not turn so the beater could be adjusted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using the stand mixer nonstop since I got it because it makes everything so much easier to make, especially bread with the dough hook. I would recommend the KitchenAid because it is professional quality and I believe it’s worth the money.

My new workhorse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a 5 qt KA for over 30 years. She is still amazing, but struggles with double batches and thick batters. My husband bought me the new Series 7 and she handles those thick batters without so much as a blink. I love it! It is not unusual to see both of them showing off in my kitchen! :)
The only annoyance is getting the beater out of the bowl. The lift feature is not as graceful as the tilt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 4.5 quart and could never double cookie recipes etc. I was able to make my bread dough without putting strain on my 4.5 quart KitchenAid. The bowl takes a little bit to get used to how it clicks in to the stand. Over all I LOVE it. Having a big family the 7 quart makes life so much easier.
