Love the 7 Quart Bowl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this stand mixer and I really like the plastic lid to add ingredients more easily into the bowl. The color of the mixer is bright red, which I like very much. Kitchen Aid is the best brand in stand mixers.

Great for kneading bread dough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a machine that can knead a firm dough for bread. So far, I made three lots of dough, each with about 10 cups of flour. The machine readily produced a well kneaded and fairly firm dough without laboring. If you use no more than 10-12 cups of flour, you can let the dough rise and double in volume right in the 7-quart bowl of the mixer; this greatly reduces the flour-y mess on the counter and correspondingly increases the joy of baking bread.
I also made cookie dough with 2 cups of flour. However, this 7 quart bowl is a bit too big to make such a small quantity of dough - for this, a hand-held mixer seems easier to use.

i bought my daugher and i each a tilt head mixer, and I absolutely love my mixer that i bought 5 months ago,But i figured out it is not big enought. so i thought i would buy a larger one. i do love the looks of the 7qt lift mixer.

Better than expected

I'm a third generation Kitchen Aid loyal homemaker, 23+ years of owning my own, using my mom's for decades before that. Bread, cakes, pastries, ice cream, and my famous jumbo chocolate chip cookies - this is the machine that does all. And I'm not even talking the attachments!
