Workhorse

I got my Kitchen 6qt for a gift many years ago (20+) and it still works as good today as it did brand new. I am now starting a small baking side business so am going to purchase a 7qt. My 6qt is red and beautiful. I really like the sugar silver color....decisions...decisions.

My dream mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned Kitchen Aid Mixers for over 45 years. I have an ancient harvest gold 4 c and a 6 qt. The 4 c is pretty much limited to running a can opener but before I bought the 7 qt the 6 qt was my workhorse. But it struggled with the garden sauce and pasta. The new 7 qt just purrs through the toughest tasks I have asked of it.

Not happy with the handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement item under waruntee which I appreciated. I was told it round before the same however the handle was black and didn’t look nearly as nice as the original

Worst Mixer I've Ever Used

Bowl height adjustment is a joke. Bowl accessibility is impossible when there's an attachment in use. I hope whoever designed this burns their bakes for the rest of their lives.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Helps with my bread baking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to knead pizza dough, as my Artisan stand mixer couldn't handle it. The motor on this unit is 3x as powerful as the Artisan, proving no problem for the dough. I'm able to make a large batch to make 8-pizzas, and it's handles like a Pro!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sold my old 6 qt kitchenaid that I had used for over 12 years since I wanted to try a Bosch mixer. I just couldn’t get myself to love it so I sold it and bought the 7 qt kitchenaid that has a more powerful motor than the 6 qt and a bigger bowl for our growing family. I absolutely love it! Runs quieter than my old one and making dough is a breeze! I can even double batches that I previously didn’t dare to since I didn’t wanna burn out the motor on my other one and it doesn’t seem to phase it. Very happy I purchased it!
