[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When taken out of the box, it would not turn on. We tried multiple outlets and nothing would work. After waiting on hold for 1/2 an hour the operator asked for the serial # and it was on the bottom. When I turned it on it's side and it put pressure on the lever, it started spinning. From that point forward, it has worked extremely well. I cannot wait to see how it does making pizza dough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worth every penny

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my UPGRADE 700 about 2 wks ago. I can whip up my recipes so fast, it takes no time and is so quiet! I do decorated sugar cookies and it whips up my icing to stiff peaks in no time compared to my 15 yr old 6 qt. I named her RUBY

My 3rd and greatest Kitchenaid

Have been using Kitchenaid mixers for over 25 year, my first was a gift from a beloved friend and a powerful and a great Artisan mixer. I finally upgraded to the 7 quart Professional series and gorgeous Red Kitchenaid. It is magnificent. I bake a LOT. I can make 14 dozen chocolate chip cookies in it, or cake for 180 in only two batches. Or a small loaf of bread or a cup of whipped cream. It is a pleasure to use. And I smile just looking at it sitting pride of place in my kitchen!
Next to try your big appliances as Kitchenaid has my devotion!
Btw, my previous Kitchenaid mixers weee passed on to younger bakers and are still going.
Thanks Kitchenaid for making such a solid and inspiring product!

New upgrades are Downgrades

It’s impossible to take the bowl out with out removing the mixer head which creates a huge mess.
I wish it still could still fold back like the original model
NOT WORTH THE PRICE
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great mixer that lasts a while.

I received it as a gift for my birthday. This is a very good stand mixer and does its job. Its very strong and durable too. My only problem is that most of the recipes I use are too small for it to mix properly. This does not affect my baking though. It can easily be fixed with a larger mixer add-on which i use. Overall, very good.

Quiet, Powerful & Beautiful

I recently bought the Pro Line 7 Quart Bowl Lift Stand Mixer so that my wife will have a great tool to help with her baking endeavors. I'm going to use it to make pizza dough for home made pizzas. I bought the Metal Food Grinder Attachment to give the new mixer an early tough task. After reading the many great reviews, it was no surprise to see the mixer grind 12 pounds of beef without hesitation. No slowing down, no sounds of straining. It just quietly grinded on through. I now have some great quality beef burger patties for grilling this Summer. Very pleased with the purchase.
