[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a 40 year old KitchenAid K5-A stand mixer which quit working correctly. This one is an absolute dream to use! After looking closer at my old mixer, I was able to fix it myself. so now I have two quality mixers!

Extremely Disappointed

My husband bought me this model in matte black. From the day we got it we have had nothing but problems. It looks like it was used. And the paint job is sloppy you can see white where the black paint missed. The bowl is extremely hard to remove and pops out all the time. The machine doesn’t always turn on you have to keep turning it on and off and eventually it works. The bowl is too big and doesn’t mix anything on the bottom. It had machine oil all over the part for the attachments which also had black machine oil I had to use several qtips the reach in and try to get rid off but never goes away. The nonstick paddle leaves a residue on my dough like something is coming off of it onto my food. There are stain marks on the paint under the bowl like some chemical residue remains and won’t come off. I’ve contacted customer service about this several times and they keep dismissing my complaints saying it’s all fine and normal. I know it’s not normal and each time I use it I get rashes and bumps on my hands and swelling. I’d appreciate to communicate with someone who will take my concerns seriously to resolve this. I have photos if interested. Please respond. Serial no WB5O17321

Absolutely love the mixer but....

I received the 7qt mixer as a Christmas present from my husband as my 5.5qt was too small for all the baking I do. My flat attachment started peeling. I noticed it when I removed it after mixing some cake batter for a clients birthday cake. I saw some small specs in the batter. Thank goodness I noticed it. I had to throw the entire batch of batter away as that would have been a total disaster having had someone at their party or them eat a piece of metal. I’m a chef and I’ve been baking and custom designing cakes for the past 7 years. I’m ordering a new attachment with the silicone hoping this will resolve the issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My father moved heaven and earth to get me this beautiful candy apple red 7 qt mixer for Christmas. I am a big believer in useful gifts and this sure was one I hadn’t imagined adding to my kitchen until later in life. I had gone through all the specs thoroughly for all the mixers here and had come to the conclusion that the 7qt mixer was the queen Bee of them all. It powers through even the densest dough. I can now make pie crust dough for 4 or more pies at a time without getting hand cramps from dough kneading! To be able to turn it on and walk away while I clean up the mess and put things away is amazing! It’s Quiet and powerful. A workhorse disguised as a ruby red racecar! It looks wonderful in the kitchen. Super shiny and very fancy. I bake regularly and my partner uses true spiralizer attachment to cook. I plan to get the grain mill attachment and have read it only works with the big DC motor models so I’m happy I have the workhorse that has no restrictions! I hope to keep it in the family for a long long time. It’s my newest favorite kitchen appliance. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my Birthday. My husband surprised me with Kitchenaid Pro line series 7 quart bowl lift Stand mixer as he knows how long i gave wanted one as my old breville stand mixer cannot take heavy mixing especially dough as it shakes and you have to hold it to prevent it from dropping to the floor.
I was right! Kitchenaid Pro line 7 quart is great. I tested it by making my brioche bread and it was amazing. I used the dough hook and it turned out perfect.
Anyone who wants a heavy duty and great quality for the price, i would recommend on investing in a Kitchenaid.

So beautiful!!!

I have been pining over upgrading my 4.5 quart artisan to a 6 or 7 quart pro. Our family has much grown since my original purchase and I need to always (at least) double a standard recipe….sometimes overflowing the 4.5 quart bowl up over the top of the beaters. Can’t explain the messes I have created in trying to save time from making an additional batch of dough. Well, I couldn’t stand to wait any longer-so this Christmas I took the leap! I decided to go big so I chose the 7 quart… So glad I did! She is beautiful, she is a beast and I love her!!!
