I've had this for almost a year now. I'm very new to coming and this product has made it very easy to cook so many various dishes. I can't think of one complaint. I've had zero issues and the attachments are plentiful and useful. To save money, find a kitchen store that has refurbished kitchenaids. A lot of times they're used at conventions one time and then have to be sold as "used."
I would recommend this to a friend!

Strong but never gets the bottom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my mixer but a frustrating fact is it never mixes the bottom ingredients regardless of batch size. I have to manually reach into the bottom with my spatula and incorporate the ingredients, the mixer also gets heated quick when kneading dough

I bought this mixer in September for my birthday. Used 4 times everythingbeautiful just as I expected. Yesterday 5th use when I added 1st ingredient(butter) there was a clicking sound. Immediatly I checked to be sure bowl and beater were on correctly. Turned on mixer clicking continues louder as increase the speed.Checked with kitchen aid they tell me this is normal for this mixer. I am so dissappointed. Please if anyone else has this size mixer please tell me if yours does the same.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dear Deb#1, Thank you for your review. It is normal for the Pro Line stand mixer to make a clicking noise during operation. This is due to the push/pull action of the planetary as it's turning and the power of the motor.
It is normal for the beater to hesitate during heavy use. This is because the advanced controls are constantly communicating and adjusting the motor for the amount of power needed to process the load in the bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My brother got this for me as an early Christmas present as I turn into the cookie making elf this time of the year and my older Kitchenaid needs a tune up. it purrs like a kitten and didn't have any issue doing double batches and was nice that all my other attachments worked perfectly.

Great mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer to replace a kitchen aid mixer that my husband gave me 50 years ago. Although it still works I’m afraid that the 50 year old glass bowl could not be replaced. Being able to mix bread dough in the new one is outstanding!

Lousy customer service

I bought the pro 600 mixer 5 weeks ago (in the middle of this COVID 19 outbreak). It took a week to get here and by the time we tried it was 3 days ago. Used it only twice. The motor was weak so we decided to ask Kitchenaid if we could return this one and get the next level up (Pro Line Series 7), but was told after 30 days they could not do that. They just wanted to sell us another mixer. Wow, brand new mixer, not happy with the power of the motor and just wanted to upgrade. They said no. Is this really the type of company you want to buy from?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week ago, and just used it the first time today. It shut off in under 5 minutes of kneading dough, on speed 2 as the manual instructs, and now it won't even run on speed 1 with nothing in the bowl for more than a few seconds. Support hours (8AM-8PM Eastern) are also ridiculous for anyone living on the west coast.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Zero Stars - same problem as 1st mixer I returned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the first KA Pro Line Series 7 qt. Stand mixer as recommended by Americas Test Kitchen specifically for bread making. The first mixer works for a few minutes and then starts clicking and then totally shuts off not to be started again.
I was sent a second Pro Line Series 7 qt mixer and it had the same problem! I now have a very large, heavy mixer sitting on my counter that doesn’t work. I took a video but don’t do YouTube or I’d include it. I’m beyond being disappointed and want a refund!
Please send a return box so I can return the second mixer.
