Wonderful size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a larger quantity mixer with the power besides. This fills the bill. Only made banana bread but it got rave reviews. Will move on to cookies tomorrow. With chocolate chunks instead of chips a stiff dough. It “just fits” in my swing out cabinet.

I absolutely love it. I like to grind my own meat and make large batches of dough for pregios and homemade bread and the large mixing bowl and power make it a dream to work with. If you have been waiting wait no longer you will be thrilled. Happy Cooking!

Just what a bulk baker needs

I have had a 5qt professional HD for 11 years, and needed a bigger bowl and more powerful mixer for the amount of baking I do (everything from cakes & frostings, to bread & pasta). The heftier doughs now have met their match. The quieter motor is heaven, and it doesn't shake all over my counter. The bowl does come up higher to the head, so less wiggle room up top, but the pouring/splatter shield is amazing. There is a slight clicking sound as it's mixing (which I saw people mention in reviews previous to purchasing) but that may just be how it is. If not, I think my husband can adjust it. The bowl is also a very tight fit to the housing (which it's supposed to be that way, but can be difficult to lock in for those who don't have muscle power).
Overall, I love it and would purchase again.

My Second Kitchen Aid Mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My second KA Mixer, the first one lasted 35 years. I got a bigger bowl this time and it is awesome. Kneads bread like a champ and I can do huge batches of Chocolate Chip cookies.

Outstanding and powerful counter-top mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a several year old 7 qt Cuisinart mixer with this mixer. We really liked the old mixer, and were hesitant to replace it. After its first use, our hesitancy was relieved. This mixer is outstanding! Elegant, powerful, large capacity, and so nice to not have to tilt the head back to get access. Highly recommend!
