Ice cream attachment does not work with it!!!

I bought the proline and my ice cream maker that fits on my old kitchenaid machine does not fit on this one... the drive shaft attachment is too long...

I bought this about 2 months ago and have never looked back, it is really good for making bread dough & large batches, unfortunately I did find that small batches didn't do the job
