7 Quart Stand mixer

I want to say I had my first kitchen aid for 21 YEARS! Guess What? It’s still working full power , full speed and I passed it onto my adult daughter. We are a kitchen aid family for sure. These things hold up!!!

Replacing my old Kitchenaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the proline 7qt to replace my professional 6. I bought my 6qt over 10 years ago at a thrift store needed to replace it. The proline is quieter then my old one. I like the larger bowl. I love the ease of mixing pizza dough and cookie dough. Works the same as the 6 qt but the 7qt has a larger motor and larger bowl.

Powerful Mixer, Very Quiet

Today I used the dough hook, Pasta Maker, and Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder to prepare this evening's dinner. What a breeze to prepare everything. Motor powered through everything with no problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an older classic mixer with the 7 Quart Pro. I was concerned about the large bowl but it appears to be ok. I wanted the extra power (1.3 HP motor) to mix bagels and for grinding meat. When we ground meat with this mixer it just kept going with out slowing down unlike the 300 W old one.
My only complaint was that the bowl was not properly adjusted for the beater. The beater was so tight against the bowl during shipping that it damaged the end of the paddle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the tilt head Classic stand mixer for years, I decided to upgrade as my family expanded. I did my research and this is why I decided on the Pro Line 7 Quart. It is much bigger than the Classic (of course, its a bigger capacity), which was an initial concern, but it fit perfectly under my cabinet. There is a clearance of 16.5 inches from the counter to the bottom of the cabinets in my kitchen, so this actually gives me more room because the tilt head would have to be pulled out to lift the head and I can leave this one where it is.
I do not always need a 7-quart bowl, so I purchased the 5-quart wide bowl (KN25WPBH). I have also purchased the flex edge beater (KAFE7L), but waiting for that to arrive with hopes it fits everything well.
Thankfully, all the attachments that I currently own (FPPA 580157 from 2005) fit this mixer perfectly! The flip-top hinged hub cap is a welcome change! I would have to remove the one on the Classic, but this one just flips and voila. You're ready to go without worrying about where you put it. Sadly, I have been known to discard items inadvertently.
Another plus (and deciding factor) is the DC motor. The slow start is nice, keeps things from flying everywhere when the power is turned on. Much more quit than the Classic and strong enough to take care of any dish I may want to attempt.
The shield is included and MUCH better than the one I purchased for the Classic. Nothing so far has leaped out at me while mixing up flour and other dry ingredients. It is one piece and comes almost up to the head keeping everything in the bowl where it belongs.
I was torn between this mixer and the less expensive Professional 6500. Both have the DC motor, but the glass bowl was a turn-off with no stainless steel 5qt addition. Reviews state the weight is almost too much and I'd rather have something that was more interchangeable so I went with the Pro Line 7-quart and I'm glad I did! The Pro600 has a 575 AC motor, but from my research, most reviews mention how loud it is and many have returned it because of that.
So far... I am very happy with the Pro Line 7 quart. I feel that I made the correct decision and I have been nothing but pleased and happy with my selection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the 7qt lift stand mixer because my 4.5 qt mixer couldn’t easily handle the double batches of cookies I regularly make for my son’s taproom. It is amazing and makes baking such a joy. I haven’t regretted it for a single moment! Now I have 2 Kitchenaid stand mixers!
