[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chicken Math is a real thing. I love chickens. I started out selling the extra eggs, but soon ended up with so many that I needed a way to use them. That's when I decided to try making old German egg noodles and other kinds of pasta. Wow! That turned out to be a lot of work, mixing, rolling, cutting, all by hand. This machine allows me to make bunches of pasta in a short amount of time. It allowed me to expand my egg business into a lot of new areas, beyond what I imagined. I love my 7 quart pro-line mixer!

What I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple months ago. It is exactly what I was looking for. A stronger motor that stays cool with heavy kneading of pizza dough. We like to make our own. I think I burned out the last kitchenaid but it was a smaller motor and I did not realize I should not go over the second speed level when kneading. I may have been the problem. But it lasted for a number of years beforehand. This Proline is quieter and stronger. Even on slow speeds it can make a double batch easily. A little extra money but worth it for me. It is heavier, so instead of keeping it in the cabinet, it’s on the counter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 25-year old KitchenAid stand mixer needed a new motor. I was ready for a new one and expect this one to last another 25 years

Wow! So Powerful and QUIET

I replaced my pro line Architect 575W bowl lift mixer with this one and the power is noticeable for sure, but for others in my house they are shocked at how quiet this one is compared to the 575W one. In my husbands words: “it is kind of ridiculous how much quieter it is” and I am thinking, and so much more powerful to boot! Plus hubby was able to snag a cast iron finish . . . LOVE it!!

So quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had other two smaller models of KitchenAid mixers over the years and will admit to putting them through their paces, using them to mix bread dough regularly. After a number years of this something shakes loose inside and rather than deal with shipping it back to get it fixed, I buy a new one. This time I went with the Pro Line model and the difference was immediately obvious. Not only is it noticeably quieter, but when I put my dough ingredients in they are mixed easily and quickly. I also love the higher walls on the bowl so the flour doesn't spray on my counter without the guard on. I think this one is going to outlast me.
