Upgrade purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the same 5 quart Kitchen Aid tilt mixer for about 26 years and it was still working well. I decided to upgrade because I wanted a bigger bowl. I love that this one is quieter, even at high speed. I am adjusting to the lifting style for the bowl-have some difficulty putting on attachment when the bowl is full with a heavy dough/batter. Overall, though, I am happy with the purchase and will (hopefully) get at least the same longevity out of this one as with my original!

Good Heavy Duty Workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I seem to be putting it to work. I am making quad batches of IMBC, SMBC, Korean Buttercream, a very thick, heavy cookie dough, breads ~ I’m waiting for it to grump but it won’t - it just keeps going and seems to say, “What else ya got?”

We recently invested in granite countertops and decided to purchase the new mixer as part of the kitchen upgrade. Our son is the lucky recipient of old one. It’s a win-win for our family.
