[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Christmas gift from my family to replace the 11 year old Kitchenad Pro-600 (:( Should have lasted longer!!). Hoping the metal gears in this one will last longer. Most notable difference… it’s so much quieter!

Bigger is Better

This model ticks the boxes for both and I love how quiet it is compared to the Artisan. I made a bread dough and that was my benchmark for testing how I liked it and I have no complaints. Looking forward to making double and triple recipes.

Upgraded after 25+ years

I loved my 4.5 quart KitchenAid that my mom gave me. It had a long and illustrious life. When it was time to replace I brought my bread baking husband. I was set to buy the 6 quart when he advocated for the 7. This has been amazing. Quiet, efficient and handles bread in a snap.

Love everything but the beater and whisk!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stand mixer. I bought one of these years ago but it was damaged by a mover during our last move so I replaced it with the same mixer. I replaced with the same thing because I loved my old one and in part because I didn’t want to have to buy new bowls and beaters to replace the extras I have. I really do like this mixer - great capacity, a real workhorse but not too loud, and the ability to add all kinds of attachments. The only thing I hate is the beater blade and whisk attachments. Even though I got a new beater with this machine, I won’t use it. The coating comes off at some point, no matter how you care for it and there is nothing worse than shards of that coating in your baked goods. I buy stainless steel beater blades and use those instead but for the cost of this mixer, I shouldn’t have to. The whisk attachment can’t be put through the dishwasher or it gets this black stuff on it, something I learned with my last mixer and then I had to replace the whisk attachment. I now wash it by hand with each use. Other than that, love this mixer!

The best kitchen appliance to have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted this mixer for a long time, its really amazing. When a recipe says to beat the butter and sugar till light and fluffy, you can definitely do that with this stand mixer. The hand mixers are so hard to hold for a long time. I used to work at a bakery that had the kitchen Aid mixers and I was sold on them after that. It makes baking so much easier! I bought the higher end Kitchen Aid Mixer because it's more heavy duty. And it helps when making bread dough, it has a stronger motor.
