Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago because I was making sourdough breads that required longer mixing times and a larger volume of ingredients.The mixer is definitely powerful and easily handles the dough. I am still working with it to mix the ingredients well enough to clean the sides of the bowl of all the dough.

This press through the mixing with ease and it is quieter while doing it. The 7 quart bowl is a good size four making bread. We are really happy with our purchase.

Nothing Else Like It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I near retirement I have been replacing appliances we've owned for 20 years, hopefully ensuring trouble-free operation in our senior years. Among them, I bought this mixer to replace a similar KitchenAid 6qt lift mixer that was in a different color - but in otherwise really good condition (and will be passed onto another kitchen).
The new mixer is beautifully finished, a quart larger in capacity, has improved bowl attachments and now matches the finish on the toaster. We've had KitchenAid mixers in our family since I was a teenager - and though we've run them pretty hard (lots of bread and pizza dough), we've never had any issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!
