Disappointment

I got this mixer to replace a 65 yr old KitchenAid Stand mixer that was given to my mother as a wedding gift. I should have kept it as I quickly learned new does not mean improved in this instance.
The bowl-lift makes it extremely difficult to scrap the bowl without removing not only the beater but also the bowl off the stand. The beaters do not reach the bottom of the bowl so I had to spend more money to get the scraper type beater only to find it changes the color of my recipes leaving white cakes/cookies/icings grey (Not sure what it's made of and it scares me.)
The splatter shield does not stay in place, & pops off during use. AND to make it even worse? It's less than 2 months old and the "Polished Stainless Steel Bowl" is already rusting at the handle!
The exorbitant amount that this mixer costs makes it highway robbery!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

KitchenAid changes my life!

KitchenAid inspired me to do again what I love, which is baking and cooking! I've loved baking since I was a kid! KitchenAid inspired me so much that and I decided to open a culinary YouTube channel! All mixers are great! But if you like to make bread ... the ProLine does this job without any effort! I don’t buy more bread and pasta, I do everything at home! Yes I say Yes to that mixer! I am a KitchenAid lover and my husband is already jealous and tells me: you love KitchenAid more than me!

Great mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from the Professional 600™ Series 6 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer. I was very happy with that one, but it had a small problem. KitchenAid immediately replaced it for me (great service!), and I decided to upgrade at that time. 6 qt was plenty big for my use, but this mixer is only very slightly bigger (the bowl is just a little deeper) and it weighs only a little more (not noticeable). However, this mixer has a DC motor and it's MUCH quieter. This is a real advantage, because the older one was really loud. Otherwise it's exactly the same.

Love, love, love! It’s a powerhouse, and the 1.5 horsepower motor is quieter than my old professional 6qt with its 525wt. It practically purrs! It never struggles, no matter how many batches I throw at it! Holiday baking has never been easier…or faster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the pro line 7 quart mixer and couldn't be happier. Use it mainly for bread making. It handles kneading 4 loafs of bread dough with ease.
It is a beast of a machine

Great mixer, terrible attachment

I use this mixer daily for a small local bakery. The paddle attachment is absolutely terrible. Expensive to replace and chips extremely easily. I wish they actually put some effort into designing something better. The cheap coating on the paddle mixer ruined my baked items.

Needed more power and found it with Pro Line

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 300 watt heavy duty 5 quart mixer and used it often but found that the pizza dough I make would stall out the mixer and cause the motor to overheat. Did a ton of research and found the Pro Line would stand up to the challenge and I'm happy to say it does. The larger bowl allows me to make almost 2kg of dough without a problem.

Heavy loads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make a German Christmas bread known as “Stollen.” This bread is a rich dough and filled with candied fruits and nuts. Once the main ingredients of the dough are incorporated, the dough needs to be beaten for 30 minutes. The addition of the fruit and nuts adds to the heaviness of the load placed on this mixer. The Proline Series 7 was more then able to handle both the beating time and the addition of the fruits and nuts.
