[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased the 7 Qt proline mixer and it is the 4th and best Kitchen aid ever. I have been buying bigger ones each time and this is perfect. Never have I experienced such a quiet motor. I couldn't believe how quiet it was when I turned it on. The 1.3 HP makes such a difference. This mixer is a must for anyone that likes to bake!!!!!

Love my mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rec'd this as a birthday gift. My last kitchen aid mixer was for my 40th birthday 23 years ago! I wanted a bigger one and this one is bigger. Love the slow speed at the beginning. My only complaint is how hard it is to get the bowl into position. Takes a lot of muscle.

I'm very sad to see this line of mixer go. I have had my cast iron beauty for 4 years now and the power and quietness is unmatched. I've bought a lot of attachments made for this mixer and will be buying the remaining attachments before it's phased out. You won't be disappointed if you buy this mixer as it is set up to take on any task at hand. I've made breads, 4 batches of cookies, mixed ground meats and it handled any task admirably.

Heavy duty with a great warranty means no worries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not the most busy bread maker in the world, but when shopping for my first stand mixer I became concerned about reviews of the less-expensive units regarding problems when mixing stiff doughs or larger batches of dough. So I decided to spend the cash for this larger, heavy duty machine for the peace of mind it brings. Last evening I made a very heavy batch of wheat based dough and enjoyed watching the machine power through the dough ball without effort. I was surprised, when I dumped out the dough, just how heavy and firm it was. Very imppressed with Kitchenaid and the design of this 7 quart unit! And the pearl white is gorgeous!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mixer. It has a nice deep bowl and can handle any task.
I do with the dough hook the the rough metal disk on top like the tilt head mixers use. When kneading bread dough over 1.5lbs, the dough creeps up past where the hook attaches and gets black grease on it. I have to watch it very closely to prevent it.
Aside the that, the mixer is a work horse. Kitchenaid has always been consistent in the quality of their products.
I gave my previous 20 year old Kitchenaid to my niece. It worked perfectly, I just needed something a little larger.

I’ve been using the much smaller Kitchen Aid Mixer for more than 25 years and have always loved it. I didn’t realize how much more efficient the ProLine 7 Series is until I started using it. It really saves a lot of time and effort.
