Didn't meet expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I invested in the larger model and I am so disappointed! I don't think it is as powerful as the KitchenAid I had before this. I am a baker and it doesn't seem to have enough power to really cream my butter and I've been having issues ever since I got that I did not have with my smaller model. I wish I would not have bought the larger model and would have just stayed with a smaller one. There is something not right with the amount of power this one has, or should I say doesn't have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great, with a few caveats

I love KitchenAid Mixers (my mom has 3!) and I recently got this one for Christmas. It does a great job mixing the dough and the motor is quieter than older models, but there are two caveats. The bowl on this mixer really rattles & therefore makes the mixer loud. Secondly, and more bothersome, is the coating on the attachments, specifically the paddle. I used the paddle once and the coating is already peeling/wearing off. As many are aware, these coatings are made of strong chemicals which you definitely don't want in your food. I will be calling KitchenAid to see if I can swap the coated attachments for stainless steel.

I'm a hobby baker and have a small business that I run out of my home. In my opinion kitchenaid is the best you can buy. I am a customer for life

Received this as a gift & absolutely love it! Never thought I'd really use it for much as it looks intimidating but it is so easy to use. Its quiet, does its job well and is so easy to clean. I have used it numerous times now and wonder how I lived without it!

QA / Final Inspection needs improvement

Received mixer with the bowl lift knob fallen off and found pieces in bottom of shipping box. It is a nice mixer but QA lacking. What else might be wrong with this machine? Going to keep it and hope no other issues arise as the rest of the mixer looks and runs ok (so far). Because of this, I can only give this mixer an average rating for fear of any other QA issue that may arise. If no further issues, then this will be a 5 star mixer without the bowl lift knob that does not affect performance.

I got it over 5 months ago, and it works very good. It handled 10 dozen cookies in one batch, and I am sure it can handle more. I use my meat grinder on it and it works great. Also, the ice cream attachment works good on it. This is a very good mixer.
