I received my KitchenAid mixer from my mom. She had it for a year but due to poor health, was only able to use it a couple times. I was so excited to get a KA Mixer!! But the attachments have oxadized and black rubs off on my hands. I can't use them so therefore, I cannot use my mixer at all. HELP!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Kitchen aid mixer for 23 years still going strong. I wanted to up grade to a bigger mixer and purchased the 7 qt mixer. So glad I did. A lot more power and can handle the yeast bread kneeling. So glad I bought this machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been wantingr this for years. Been using my mother's 60 year old Kenmore and went through 4 hand mixers. Getting long in the tooth and lazy. This mixer is the cats meow. Make breads and pastries. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG!

Lots of power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mixer! Its strong motor can handle anything I mix in it. The red body and stainless steel large bowl are beautifully shiny and ornate in my kitchen. I bought this mixer because of the 7-qt bowl, so now I can mix double batches of cookies and homemade bread. It is not wobbly or moving around when it is working.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my 5 qt kitchen aid for 9 years and it's been used nearly every day, I practically live in the kitchen as a hobby baker. I decided to upgrade to the pro series and I love it! The only thing I'm still having to get used to is the difficulty in removing the bowl and beater. I'm used to rocking the beater back, and taking off the bowl to scrape and add ingredients. With the pro series, it's too cumbersome to remove the bowl and beater too often, so that's something to get used to. However, to be able to make double batches of cake and icing, and to knead bread without it creeping up the dough hook, is a huge benefit and well worth some relearning.

I've had mine for several years and can't live without it. This is my 4th KitchenAid mixer. Katrina destroyed my 1st one but the other 3 still work fantastic.
