[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to replace my worn out 6 qt mixer. I do a lot of baking, so needed a hard worker-and this is it! Love it! Tons of power and very quiet!

So happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using a very old hand me down Kitchen Aid bowl lift mixer for over 30 years and it’s had a ton of use as I am an avid bread and dessert baker. It lost its ability long ago to mix at any slow speed, and I always said I would deal with the flying flours and liquids until it died! I recently made the decision that this dinosaur was never going to die, and it was time to finally obtain a fully functional mixer! So after much research, I decided I’m the red 7 qt Proline mixer, and I LOVE it! Its bright candy apple red really brightens my countertop and FINALLY, I can slowly mix my doughs and batters! I can easily make double batches and its powerful motor makes kneading dough effortless. I also purchased the citrus reamer—-it’s great!! I also purchased the pastry blender paddle—-it works well, too! The only downside? The bowl no longer fits the top rack of my dishwasher!! No worries, I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Best Thing I could do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always admired the Kitchenaid mixers for a long time but didn't have the space or $'s for one until recently. We did a kitchen redo and now my prize collection is sitting on my counter. It works like a dream and I also purchased the metal meat grinder. I have one that my Great Grandmother had but it needed to be attached to a table or counter. Unfortnately it left deep marks in the table and haven't been able to use it for many years. Getting this new one just upped the game in what I can do. Love everything about the mixer and grinder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok this was a gift from my wife and I had no idea she would get the 7qt sized machine. That being said, it performs well but doesn’t hold as much as they state it can. I have also experienced some metal shards falling from the machine into the mixing bowl.
Overall I would recommend but think the price tag doesn’t get you what it used to.

Powerful and Whisper Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had two prior KitchenAid stand mixers, neither of which I ever wore out, so I felt somewhat guilty buying a Pro Line Series 7 Quart Bowl-Lift mixer which I did not need, but I definitely wanted. So far, I have made a couple of oversized angel food cakes (16 eggs whites each), a big batch of bread (16 cups of flour), and a double batch of cookies. This machine brings everything together effortlessly AND the direct current motor is unbelievably quiet while doing so. I have a television in my kitchen, and you can still hear the television with the mixer running, something that was impossible to do with the models having ac motors. I also bought the 5 quart bowl designed for the larger mixers. The attachments work fine with the smaller bowl, which I use for smaller quantities of whipped cream and meringues. I also like that the knobs are metal, not black plastic. They are easier to keep clean. I love this mixer, and so does my friend . . . because I gave her my old KitchenAid stand mixer.

7 Quart Mixer Does the Job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After burning out the motor on 3 of the 5 quart mixers I bought this size and so far am pleased with it. It doesn't sound like it is straining when I kneed my bread dough so it looks like I just needed a bigger motor mixer for my weekly bread baking.

Better than my last kitchenAid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a kitchenAid pro mixer for over 15 years. It was sturdy, handled tough batters like gingerbread so easily. This mixer does it even better. I like the bowl lift, less pins to hold beaters on, and splash guard. The other mixer was put away after every use. This pretty red one is out all the time, and we use it all the time, even for small stuff. Love it!

Exceeds Expectations

I bought this wonderful mixer in March and I just simply love it. I had concerns with my first mixer about longevity, performance, and noise, I've gotta say this mixer is unbothered with any task that I throw at it and trucks right on through stiff doughs like bagels, prolonged mixing projects like Italian meringue buttercream and creates beautifully aerated mouse and whipped cream with its very efficient whisk. The finish is brilliant and I always find myself staring at it in the kitchen, I've got the candy apple red, let me tell you, it's utterly gorgeous and vibrant. The feel is very high end with the handle and all the chrome on the switches and trim band raised letters, truly no expense was spared and I ultimately feel I got my money's worth. You can't beat the 5 year warranty and support offered by the company, though knock-on-wood I haven't needed it yet. I have only one concern, however, and that's with most types of loads with the exception of liquids to aerate, a clicking sound can be heard continuously which makes me question if it's a problem with the gears, the mixer works so that is ultimately what matters to me. It is a splurge, but if you love baking and letting your creativity run wild in the kitchen, then you will be glad you did.
