More mixing capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it last month and used it for the first time this week. Took a little adjusting to get efficient with locking the bowl in place but after 6 batches of cookies I’m good now. I hope a bowl scraper attachment is available for this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot more quiet than the 5qt or 6qt mixers The mixer did not turn on the second time it was used. After moving the lever to off position again and then on it finally started up.

Great mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a month ago. Overall the mixer is great. I would suggest a slight change in design that would allow the top part of the mixer to move up to facilitate the connection of the different pieces to prepare the dough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this almost every day for bread dough. It does a wonderful job. The one feature that I wish KitchenAid mixers had is a timer. I also have a Cuisinart 7qt and that feature is very useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I inherited a kitchen aid mixer from my aunt in 2007. She had bought it in the 1980’s. After using it hard for 13 years, I stripped the gears. My husband ordered new gears and grease and fixed it so that it would mix thin to medium batters or doughs. I decided it was time for a new mixer. (My friend inherited the old one). This past month, I have used it for shredding carrots and zucchini, juicing tomatoes for sauce, grinding nuts for cookies, and mixing cookie, cake and bread doughs. I love the mixing setting- no more showers of flour in my kitchen. I don’t even need to use the shield, Love it!!!!

This machine is a workhorse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a KitchenAid Artisan Tilt Head for years and recently saw this machine on sale on the website. It is bigger and perfect for large batches of cookies and the frequent baking I seem to be asked to do! I was worried about the size and weight of the machine as I have had issues moving the tilt head around to put it away, but found that the solid design was actually easier for me. It did take a bit of time to learn how to lock in the bowl and to change the attachments, but I can do that with ease now, and I am totally in love with this machine. I must say, the candy apple red is stunning sitting on my counter!
