[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month and a half ago and I absolutely love it. I was torn between the bowl lift or the tilt head but with my lack of counter space the bowl lift was the option to go with. I have several attachments and I’m contemplating a few others but I absolutely love this mixer. Most of my appliances countertop are KitchenAid. I wouldn’t have any other.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this within the month to replace my 30+-year-old KSM 5 quart that still runs great but is getting old. I like the extra power and larger bowl which makes for larger batches of dough for breads and pizza's. I should have bought this machine earlier because it makes life a lot easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer is by far the BEST! I've always been a Kitchen Aid fan and have had the same mixer for 20+ years. Due to increased volumes of baking for charity, we need a larger capacity mixer and decided on this model.....and are so happy we did! We joked that Roxy (that's her name of course...) was laughing at our normal size batch of cookies because she can do so much more with such ease and grace. = ) AND, it's so quiet compared to our other model. Bottom line - if you're thinking about this model - BUY IT! Proudly displayed in my baking area are both of my Kitchen Aids - haha!

I've used my mom's ultra power since she bought it (many many many years ago). We made cakes, bread, pasta, milled some grains, grinded some meat... You get the picture. I want sad when the tilt head started to have problems while mixing bread. So, I began to save money. 18 months later, I had enough to buy my own. To my surprise, I could buy this pro line. I'm in love with it. It's so efficient that I had to adapt to the time it takes to do anything. I love that the other attachments can be used with this one too. I highly recommend this one to anyone who likes to bake as much as I do.

Great machine

Just got the 7 at bowl lift mixer and I'm very happy with it. Makes quick work of baking tasks and minimizes the mess I make while baking. I've also picked up the ice cream maker and it churned out a small batch in 15 minutes. Overall it's a super product. However, before mixing anything I tested the wire whip clearance to make sure it was where I wanted it. It was exactly on the mark, so I started beating eggs and sugar together for my ice cream base. It fell short here requiring assistance getting the sugar and eggs to thicken as needed. I tried adjusting the screw on the stand both ways and now the whisk doesnt reach the bottom. I'm going to take a look at it again as it may be user error, but given that it's a single screw with 180 degree range, I feel I'm not missing anything. Would also like to see stainless paddles and hooks for this model. Was happy to see the whisk that came with was all stainless. Also very quiet while running. Great product overall thanks kitchenaid!
