I bought this mixer during COVID. I use it all the time. Just the other day I had this mixer and my 5 quart KitchenAid mixer going at the same time. I love these two mixers. They are durable and have lasted years. I purchased one for my sister, my daughter-in-law, and my nephew's wife.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice and heavy duty

I make bread on a twice a week basis.....and this machine makes making bread a breeze. However I made the mistake of making a bread that was too stiff and required kneading at 3 different stages and apparently broke something in a gear. Hubby has replaced with new parts and all is good. I appreciate the fact that its easy for DYI repair. Thank you for that.

Great for breads!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a gift to replace my KitchenAide 600 model. I needed more power to make bread batches plus I was tired of the noise level of my 600 model. So far this Pro 7qrt is not only more powerful and quiet but, it doesn’t heat up at all making bread dough.

Terrible Bread Mixer!!

I used this mixer for cakes & cookies successfully. However, when bread or bagel dough was mixed the head loosened and almost came off! I called Kitchen Aid over a year ago and was told it could not be repaired under the warranty. I have attempted repairing it myself twice but the head just loosens again. This is a terrible mixer if you want to mix bread dough!!
So now the mixer is useless to me and I have purchased many attachments that are useless as well!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This mixer has been a huge asset to my kitchen! It handles bread dough with ease, as well as large batch cookie dough.
I use it weekly to make fresh pasta dough, and to shred block cheese.
I love that it’s quiet and handles many tasks.
I would recommend this to a friend!
