So glad I finally purchased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my mixer for two weeks and have baked three loaves of sourdough, made shredded chicken carnitas and shredded buffalo chicken, and made breakfast chicken sausage twice with the meat grinder attachment. I’ve waited ten years to afford this baby, and I hope I will use it for decades to come. I do wish there were more fun extra bowls to choose from for the 7 quart mixer.

I started thinking abiout a proline 7 quart mixer in Novembe of 2021 but was not able order until late spring of 2022 Received mixer as promised when i ordered online Got great customer support by phone - great job Willeese - This is a replacement for a 20 years old refurbished 4.5 quart mixer Now i can make my sour dough rolls with one run instead of 2...motr power and capacity Amazing is all I can say!! Love my new Pro Line!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worth Upgrading

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 6 quart KA mixer that finally quit after 15 years of heavy use. The new 6 quart didn't quite seem up to the task the way the old one was so I upgraded to the 7 quart Pro Line mixer. The motor is more powerful yet seems a bit quieter. So far this mixer has pretty much met my expectations with cookie dough, quick bread and cakes. Now I'm looking for an excuse to make meringue so I can try out the whisk! My only quibble is that it doesn't want to mix up my favorite baguette dough ingredients with the dough hook the way the old 6 quart did. Going forward I'll need to either hand mix the ingredients or mix them with the paddle first and then switch to the dough hook for kneading. A little more work, but not a deal breaker. Also, love the silver color!

Quiet and workhorse

Bigger is Better!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bequeathed my newly rebuilt (Thanks Kitchenaid) 30+ year old 5qt Kitchenaid to our oldest Son and I upgraded to the Proline 7qt. We are a Kitchenaid family our youngest bought his own because he could not be without and our daughter is inheriting my mom’s. Together we own all of the attachments and use them regularly. If you only own one countertop appliance we believe it’s a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer. The larger capacity and more powerful Proline 7qt. is amazing. I just made 2 loaves of Oatmeal Wheat bread. The newer design of the dough hook and the more powerful motor had no problem with this super sticky heavy dough. In the past I had to finish this one off by hand, not this time! Start to finish in the mixer. Customers for life!

Not Sure Yet...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been waiting months to be able to order this. Was consistently out of stock due to, I’m guessing, COVID baking. Finally settled on a color that was not my first choice so I could get it before August. I upgraded from a 27 yr. old, 5 qt heavy duty. Was mainly looking for more power, which this has. But I was dismayed to hear the dreaded clicking noise during its first try at pasta dough. Some say this is normal, some say not. It also seemed to vibrate a little too much. I like it, but I wanted to love it. A little part of me likes my old mixer better. Seems more sturdy. I think I have to use it more before I finally decide.
