The best mixer ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a birthday gift to myself. I am a Pastry Arts Grad who loves to bake. When I graduated from Pastry Arts in 2001, I received a KitchenAid 6QT mixer. It’s been dependable and faithful. But when I saw this 7QT, I had to upgrade.

Great for Dough Mixing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started making 2 loaves at a time of sourdough bread from scratch and needed a large capacity mixer with a dough hook. This one is very sturdy and does not travel across the granite counter while in operation. I did learn that the best results happen when I mix the ingredients by hand and then let the mixer do all the heavy kneading, stopping it a few times to scrape the sides and move the dough to the center. The bread turns out excellent! The motor is very quiet and there is no noticable vibration. I am looking forward to getting many of the attachments that are available for this model such as the sausage stuffer for vegan seitan sausage. This mixer will be a great helper in my kitchen!
