Great mixer - happy wife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my wives 6 quart Kitchenaid mixer started having problem after 12 yrs of extremely high use. offered to get it repaired, but she want larger capacity from Kitchenaid. she has had it 2 weeks and used it 4 times in baking. She loves it, heavy duty, looks great and wife is happy with her new toy.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded a 30 year old pro KitchenAid which had developed a slight wobble I could not correct due to walking off a counter. New machine arrived with what is presumably a misconfigured speed control plate, generating only 7 rotations in 10 seconds on stir and 23 on speed 6. Reached out to customer support about disassembly to adjust the speed control plate since it isn't as simple and obvious as unscrewing the back cap like on the non-pro models but they won't do anything but process a warranty claim. So I guess I'm going to have to go through that all process and take who knows how long so somebody else can adjust a few screws by a millimeter.
Doubly irritated because you know quality control is definitely supposed to check speed before boxing these things.
I'm going to assume the mixer will eventually work properly, so 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple months ago and thus it has performed very well. I said, "so far so good", due to all the reviews I read about clicking noise, oil leaking, etc. which had me thinking it may end up going back. Have made several loaves of bread with it and many other things. Aside from the clicking noise, we love it. No oil leaks like we read about in other reviews.

Great for making bread

As I have shoulder issues and arthritis, I wasn't able to knead the dough very long. This mixer does a great job without overheating! And the color, sugar pearl, is just beautiful!!

Exactly what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already had a 5 qt KitchenAid Stand Mixer but realized that some of my recipes had difficulty mixing the quantity used. The 7 qt mixer does exactly what I needed it to do and does not seem to significantly expand the foot print of the previous mixer. Very Happy!
