[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this model because I wanted the quietest mixer we could get with multiple loaves of bread capacity. Having spent the 4 days of Thanksgiving cooking and baking with it, I can say so far it is an excellent mixer. I have made breads and pies now with little work on my part, I would highly recommend this mixer. It's also really quiet compared to the other models I have used.

Quiet and powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd Kitchenaid mixer I have owned in the past 40 years and I still have the other 2. I added it especially for bread mixing and am impressed at the ease with which it handles the heavy dough. It is incredibly quiet by comparison.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to replace a mixer I got in 2004. My old mixer still works but only for light stuff. It was starting to leak packing grease this past year. It lasted me almost 15 years. This one is quieter, has a bigger bowl, and has already handled some heavy dough.
