Great mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make all the bread we eat, much baking and cooking and grind our meat. I’ve had this mixer a month and it’s performance is amazing. There is a downside I would LOVE to have corrected— a horrible clicking noise as it mixes in rhythm with the beater....very annoying plus I worry machine will break down otherwise I would score 5. If it breaks down a 1.

Safety, Power and Capacity for any Job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like making dough a few times a week to provide breads, pizza, Stromboli and other goodies for the family. This mixer provides plenty of power and capacity while safely mixing the dough over an older KitchenAid mixer we have that could not handle the job. Dough comes out perfect in a short time, every time. The Pro Line 7 I purchased is a Sugar Perl Silver and is very pleasing to the eye while sitting on the island counter top awaiting its work load. One minor issue was the screw that fastens the clip to the body as part of the bowl mounting mechanism came loose. A little LocTite Bolt Locker resolved that once it was snugged down.

The only thing I had with it was figuring out how to get the bowl on the pegs. After I practiced with it a few times it got easier. Oh and please add more colors to the pro line. Thank you.

Worth the wait!

I bake a lot, and I love how this handles a triple batch of dough without knocking the flour out the top/sides of the bowl. I also make homemade marshmallows...it took 12 minutes to whip with my old mixer....and only 7 with my new one!
