Powerful unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace a custom 325 watt unit which was about 15 years old. I literally wore that one out making bread! Kneading placed a strain on the unit. It started making noise and the speed control began to skip all over the place. So, I was looking for a larger unit with a stronger motor. Haven't had the new one very long but, so far, it mixes and kneads effortlessly. It doesn't get hot. I like the slow start on each setting. It helps prevent "flour showers". The 7 quart bowl is pretty sweet, too. Overall, it's exactly what I need for bread making.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this as an upgrade to the tilt head style. I must say I miss the tilting head. Stirring is tricky and removing/changing attachments is not the most friendly with this unit. But with that said, I do love this for the power, size/capability. I whipped up double and triple batches of recipes with ease! So I will continue to use both.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer about a month ago and am much happier with this one than my previous 6qt. It is much quieter and has no problem keeping up with multiple batches at a time. I have a small home based baking business and this has been a game changer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 weeks ago and it
Came in so very handy! I used it to make royal icing for over 160 cookies then used it to make cupcakes. It was put through a lot I. The short time I’ve had it and I couldn’t be more pleased with how well it worked. It never overheated nor was the noise overbearing from the motor! I’m so glad that I decided to treat myself to this mixer. I have another Kitchenaid mixer 4 1/2 quart and I use it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from the 5 qt. Artisan. I chose this model for the warranty. My 5 qt. didn't last 4 years before it stopped working. I did not let that scare me away from another KitchenAid mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago because I wanted to learn to bake. I made my first pie dough and bread. Delicious. Couldn’t be happier. Excellent quality. You can’t go wrong. If you’ve been thinking about it, buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older model Artisan 6 qt. mixer for years, but it couldn't keep up with the heavy doughs and pastas I make so I decided to splurge and get the 7 quart pro and give it a try. It has been able to keep up with everything I throw at it. Heavy doughs, marshmallows and any cookie dough is no challenge for this mixer! Best purchase I have made so far. Its fast, durable and can handle big recipes. I have even doubled a few and it kicked butt!! I highly recommend this mixer if you are looking for a new one or your first one. Spend the extra few dollars and go big!! You won't be disappointed!! I own all the attachments too and have used them all on this machine. works like a charm every time!!
