[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this model after much research over several months (that’s what I do). I couldn’t be more pleased. Replacing my wonderful but very small 4.5 qt Kitchenaid stand mixer. I’m now able to mix recipes that I used to do by hand. Higher cost than I wanted to spend but well worth the extra money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well built, it could mix cement! Use it weekly, and have already purchased pasta attachments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a 6 quart kitchen aid that couldn’t quite stir my tough doughs without a strain. This one quietly powers through like it’S a piece of cake (pardon the pun)...

Big step up from 5-quart lift model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a 5-quart bowl lift model almost 20 years ago for Christmas. I usually don't bake batches big enough to give me problems with my KitchenAid hand mixer, but when I do -- or need to whip up cream or egg whites -- the stand model has been great. Recently, however, I have been making heavier and larger cookie doughs that even the stand mixer struggles with. Got a great deal on this model just after Christmas, and it seems up for any job. Love the silver color, too!

Powerful unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace a custom 325 watt unit which was about 15 years old. I literally wore that one out making bread! Kneading placed a strain on the unit. It started making noise and the speed control began to skip all over the place. So, I was looking for a larger unit with a stronger motor. Haven't had the new one very long but, so far, it mixes and kneads effortlessly. It doesn't get hot. I like the slow start on each setting. It helps prevent "flour showers". The 7 quart bowl is pretty sweet, too. Overall, it's exactly what I need for bread making.

great mixer but some minor hiccups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this as an upgrade to the tilt head style. I must say I miss the tilting head. Stirring is tricky and removing/changing attachments is not the most friendly with this unit. But with that said, I do love this for the power, size/capability. I whipped up double and triple batches of recipes with ease! So I will continue to use both.

Much quieter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer about a month ago and am much happier with this one than my previous 6qt. It is much quieter and has no problem keeping up with multiple batches at a time. I have a small home based baking business and this has been a game changer.
