[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a beautiful and worthwhile upgrade from my 4.5 quart classic. It was 20 years old and although it continues to give me no trouble at all, I was ready for the step up in size so I could mix larger batches. And this lovely does so with ease!
There’s only one tiny complaint and that’s the extra trouble it takes to put on and take off beaters and whisk and dough hook with the bowl on (because this is a bowl lift style vs tilt head). If you have any ingredients in the bowl, sometimes it’s a struggle to get the whisk or paddle smushed down enough into the ingredients in order to connect them. I have yet to find a solution to this dance.
I would buy this mixer again, despite this one design flaw. It is otherwise a dream machine and I love making friends and family all kinds of goodies with it...all at one time!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the 7 quart stainless bowl!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer was a gift from my daughter. It replaced my 5 quart kitchen aid mixer that I have had for almost 30 years! My old mixer was still going strong, but was well used and not pretty enough to leave out on my granite countertop. The large capacity bowl on my new mixer is great for large batch cookies and bread making.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last Black Friday, and love the size and functionality. The front metal part (where you lift up and insert an attachment) broke off and won't go back on a couple weeks ago. I've only used the attachment feature 2 or 3 times in its lifetime (almost a year old). Disappointed :( I expected higher quality as it is KitchenAid.
