A Workhorse

Purchased 5 years ago and still works perfectly. I've made pasta, tortillas, butter, sausage, juice, dough, and many other things with this mixer. I love the diversity of attachments. The motor in this machine is powerful enough for larger batches of dough.

Great Food Processor

Top line mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife loves the power and I can make my heavy doughs that ruined our previous, less power mixer. The only issue we had was when we received 1st mixer it was broken. The plastic spill shield was warped and wouldn’t stay on bowl. The metal cover to attachment adapter was broken and would not stay on. But worse thing was mixer speed would not increase past number 3 so 1st time used to make whipped cream it could not go fast enough to whip. I called Kitchen Aid and they immediately sent out replacement with return label for return. This had to be a fluke and replacement was perfect. Thank you to Kitchen Aid for quick response and excellent customer service.

Great upgrade

Don't Spend The Money!

I have owned for 18 months and pretty much have regretted my purchase from day 1. I should have returned it right away but I kept hoping it would blow me away the more I used it for making bread and other hard to mix doughs. I owned 2 other smaller 4.5 qt stand mixers from Kitchenaid for over 30 years and they were great and I thought the pro would be as well. Seriously disappointed, espicially after mixing up a double batch of sugar cookie dough this past holiday season. It could not handle it at all. Even on the lowest mix setting. I enden kneading by hand - very disappointed in Kitchaid
