Impressive Machine

After having happily owned several of the lower capacity KitchenAid stand mixers I decided to bite the bullet and go all-in on the 7qt size in copper. Holiday guests, distant relatives, and casual onlookers will inquire...."Did you really need the big, fancy copper one?" No. No. I suppose I didn't. But when the universe presents you with a sexy, precision machine that can make you delicious treats....you have to treat yourself.
When compared to the lower capacity KitchenAid models we have previously owned (and used constantly), the Pro Line 7qt model is in another category all together. Where the other machines had been a bit noisy when carrying out their duties, this mixer hums a pleasant whir and doesn't wiggle in the slightest regardless of what we ask it to mix. The finish is easy to maintain. We haven't experienced any of the tarnishing mentioned in some of the reviews. Likely due to our very dry local climate. I would say that it is even easier to keep clean than the painted models. Worth the extra money for the bling? Absolutely.

Bread and soufflés le

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Learning to weigh ingredients, and knead times for tor the past four weeks have led to some edible and tasty bread Whipping up peaky egg whites has led to a couple of very rewarding soufflés. Lemon loaf cakes (2) have been worthy too. So glad I added a KichenAid 7 qt stand mixer (finally) to my kitchen counter.

Learning curve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it, but baking bread is a little different; there is a learning curve! Loving that you can sift through the spout, learning to be really stingy on additional flour! Wish I’d done this upgrade from the smaller kitchenaid years ago!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned 3 Kitchen Aid stand mixers. First a 5 qt then 6 qt and now the 7 qt. My only complaint is I wish KA would include the flex edge beater. The included paddle leaves too much on the bottom of the bowl and I’d you are not super diligent about using a spatula to scrape edges and bottom you get a bunch of unmixed flour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my mixer for several months now and couldn’t be more pleased! This is my third KitchenAid stand mixer and it’s much quieter than my previous 6qt! I love the power this machine offers, it plows right through double batches and tough bread doughs with ease! I have many of the additional attachments and it makes my work in the kitchen enjoyable!
