Love my new Mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally decided to bite the bullet and spend the money for this mixer. My Other stand mixer was still fine, but it was only a 5qt. I love the larger size. I also bought the pasta 5 piece set and the pasta extruder. Love those too ! I haven't had any problems with either attachment.

Sturdy workhorse for our large family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this larger mixer for my Valentine’s Day gift to replace our 5qt mixer that he bought for me 9 years ago before we got married. Our family has grown and so have our baking needs, this mixer has been hugely helpful with making bread dough, which our last mixer did not care for. So quiet, that my 3 year old takes a nap through it.

Overall good so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have only used a few times so far but overall good. Frustrating that no good color options really wanted in blue and would have paid more to get in a nice color instead had to get in gray. Actually considered buying less expensive model to get in a nice color but I needed the size and power the lower models definitely aren’t strong or large enough. Wish beater and dough hook were also stainless especially in this price point. Quietest model they make but still not that quiet. Takes up less counterspace than expected and fits under cabinets easily lighter than expected. Power take off attachments way overpriced so haven’t bought any yet. Eyeing grain mill and pasta maker if drop significantly in price. Arrived several weeks after expected delivery date which was frustrating. Poor automated system for tracking arrival. Haven’t had long enough to comment on durability. 1 Star for innovation is because design hasn’t really changed since my parents bought one 30 years ago and there’s is still working and actually a better made stronger mixer. So this is still a good mixer but product isn’t innovative since it has actually lost quality over time due to more modern manufacturing processes of less over engineering. This is seen across the board not specific to KitchenAid with modern products so not criticizing too much but they just don’t build anything like they used to anymore and I say that as a mechanical engineer.

Start to a New Adventure
