Beautiful mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with my new mixer. Gears change smoothly and I love the generously sized bowl. Best feature is the beautiful white pearl color! I usually dont put much on my counter, but this is so beautiful that I can’t tuck it away.

I have had a KitchenAid mixer for many years. I have always loved it, but lately I have been making more breads. This model makes it easy to knead without any strain on the motor. It will make 4 loaves without a problem. I can also make 5-8 dozen large cookies at one time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for Christmas to replace my 19-yr old Artisan mixer. I needed a stronger motor for when I use the pasta attachments as my 325 watt Artisan was leaking oil when I used the attachments. The 1.3 hp DC motor on this model is just what I needed. It's quiet, sturdy, and gets the job done without any fussing. And it's really nice looking in the Sugar Pearl.
I am keeping my old Artisan mixer as it has a smaller bowl for whipping cream and small batches. But my husband makes bread and wanted the 7-qt bowl to knead large batches of dough. So, we both got what we wanted out of this unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my 17-year-old 4.5 quart Kitchenaid which I have loved and has served me well. I wanted a larger bowl and, after much research, decided to go for this extra large model. The power is unmistakable compared to my old one and I couldn’t be happier! I really like the lift bowl feature. I read some complaints about it being annoying to detach the beater or whisk attachment before removing the bowl. I almost always did that with my tilt head model anyway to eliminate drips or messes so that has not been an issue at all. It has been such a great upgrade choice that I wish I had done so sooner!
