My favorite small appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer to replace a smaller model that I used at least 5 days every week to make loaves and loaves of bread. My new mixer is even better because it has larger capacity and operates like a dream. I use it almost daily with perfect results every time. I absolutely love it. I have several attachments (ice cream maker, grinder for grains, pasta maker) and, as expected, they work and make my tasks so much easier. And, it’s attractive in the pearlescent white that I chose.

Weird click

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When using my brand new. Not refurbished pro 7qt with the dough hook in use. It makes a weird click sound.
Not sure if this is normal or I need to return it.
I have a refurbished pro 6qt for 20 years. No clicking. Ever.

Super powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in February 2019, and finally used it in December 2029 - extremely smooth and very powerful. It replaced a regular kitchenaid stand up we had due to not being powerful enough. Made two batches of chocolates chip cookies like a breeze, used our meat grinder and same results. The only issue was a manufacturing defect - one of the brackets which hold the rubber feet is broken. I initiated a return a week ago and haven’t received the return label yet through fedex. Hoping they can fix it as it wobbles.

Quiet and powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new machine! I had a 600 series mixer, which was a solid machine but didn't provide the power I needed for the volume of baking I do. This beauty does the job. It still has the quirks that the machines seem to universally have, i.e., hesitant start, wonky attachment of the bowl, not quite getting at all of the contents of the bowl which requires hand scraping with a spatula. But still it's the best machine I've found on the market for home use and at a reasonable price point. And I love that I no longer have to warn guests and family to hold their conversations until the mixer finishes its business. The roar has been reduced to more of a purr..
