[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes my fifth KitchenAid. Love them all for different reasons. This one is great for breads and bagels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! Received this as a present from my husband. I have wanted one for a long time. I use it so much. I also have bought several accessories for it. Expensive, but worth it. It is a little difficult to get the beaters disconnected and out when you have ingredients in the bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace the one I bought in the early 90's. I have always trusted this brand for small appliances.

Great upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 22 years we decided to upgrade our first KitchenAid mixer. We did not have to decide between brands of mixers, only what model of KitchenAid we wanted. For just a few more dollars we were able to purchase the Pro Line 7 quart Bowl-Lift stand mixer......and we are thrilled. It easily handles 12 cups of flower for making bread. No hesitation. This baby rocks. Worth every dollar for this model.

Wonderful upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrade for a 25 year old Kitchenaid stand mixer and even though I love my old one I love this even more. Very quiet, more powerful, and can handle larger batches of breads and buttercream frostings. My angel food cakes have been great but now they are next level great!

Great mixer, few quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does everything you would expect it to do (whip, knead, mix, etc). Very solidly built.
However, I have one gripe. It does not knead smaller amounts of dough very well. I constantly have to scale up bread recipes 1.5x so that there is enough material for the dough spiral to do it's job. Before you say you can adjust the height, the kitchenaid height is set using the paddle mixer. Even with the height adjusted to maximum low, the spiral dough hook is still too high. The paddle mixer hits the bottom of the bowl at the maximum low level. You can set it to that, but every time you need to switch attachments, you have to change the height. It's easier to just have it set correctly for the paddle attachment, and just deal with the dough hook being a bit too high to properly knead smaller amounts of dough.
