Perfect for bread

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer because my old one was overheating when I tried to make bread. After doing a lot of research I learned that the mixers with a DC motor work much better. This required I purchase a ProLine series. This mixer if fantastic. It makers perfect bread dough and because it is 7 quart compared to my previous 5 quart it also works really well for baking with large quantities. My only mistake was waiting so long before I purchased this model. It is well worth the extra money.

We use this mixer regularly for holiday baking. For example, we just made several loaves of Greek Easter bread and couldn't do it without the KitchenAid mixer. The dough hook easily mixes the ingredients and the ability to lower and raise the bowl, makes adding ingredients a breeze without causing a mess. I would definitely recommend this mixer to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a month since I bought this. I used this mainly for baking daily bread and pastry occasionally. I'm glad I bought DC motored 7 qt mixer for its power and quietness. Since my bowl seemed bit larger for my use, I bought 5 qt bowl and it works perfectly with my attachments. I recommend this for everyone not just for baking, but its versatility with extra attachments and functionalities!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, it has done everything that I could have hoped. I have had a kitchen aid mixer for 24 years and it had been awesome. In fact, my old one was given to a friend because it still works so well. I only purchased a new one because I wanted a bigger bowl and the ability to mix heavier, bigger batches of dough. Quiet and quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved he color, coating on tools the spatter shield was warped but the company is sending a replacement. I don’t like that the bowel does not Lower enough to clear the mixing beater and you have to detach the beater when the bowel is attached by sticking your hand in the bowel. That was a benefit to the model with the lifting top

Love it!

I did not know stand mixers even existed until about three months ago. I grew up with hand mixers and they seemed to do the job and had not idea there were better options. I started watching some cooking videos on You tube a few months back and the Kitchen aid mixers were always present. Decided to pick one up and sure glad I did. Outstanding and love the dough hook as it is not necessary to kneed dough anymore. Love the wire whip to make up prefect angle food cake. I also have a Kitchen Aid slow cooker that is the best I have every had. I have been impressed with Kitchen Aid and will consider them in future purchases of major appliances.

Awesome / Beautiful Machine for the Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During lockdown the smaller classic wasn't enough. Yes, it clicks a bit with heavy dough mixing, but it's expected and not that bad. As for mixing and kneading the dough it does an amazing job. All the attachments for the old mixer fit just fine. The one piece that doesn't seem to have the same quality as expected is the "Pouring shield", okay the chute is nice, but with the unit being a "U" shape leaves a huge gaping area for the flour to fly. Really Kitchenaid, you couldn't put a little effort into a shield that actually works. It is just a flimsy piece of plastic that came warped, so it doesn't sit flush and has a huge gap. Maybe you can change the name to "Pouring Chute" as the shield is literally lacking with the open area that doesn't shield. The mixer itself is a work/power horse and I hope this will be the last mixer I ever need. Nice that Kitchenaid stands behind it for 5 years, that is coverage. If you are in the market, get the one bigger than you think you will need. You will be thankful down the road with your decision to purchase this AWESOME mixer. Thanks Kitchenaid..
