I bought this symmetry confetti case probably 6 weeks ago when my husband and I decided we were going to get new phones "soon." We ended up getting the new phones about 2 weeks ago so I had the case for a while before I even had the phone to go in it. The reasoning is that I absolutely fell in love with it. It's purple with pink and gold dots and I knew that if I didn't get it that day I would somehow never find it again or it would sell out. I'm so glad I bought it. It also feels very sturdy. My previous otter box phone case was a two part case with a soft inner and hard outer shell. This is all one piece. The previous one you would have to open a rubbery tab to get to the charging port and this one is open but the iPhone 7 is water resistant, I assume that's the reasoning, hopefully lint doesn't get in it often.
