This is a very nicely designed refrigerator, which may be valued by many people. However, I measured the temperature of food and found that even with a setting of 34 degrees food (not air temp) was only 39 degrees, which is 1 degree below the recommended minimum for safe food. GE engineers claim the refrigerator operates properly. I disagree and expect food temperatures should be within 1 or 2 degrees of the thermostat setting. I question the value of the warranty and I am very glad I did not purchase an extended warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the French doors and view of contents. It is amazing how much bigger it is than our older single door refrigerator. Love the bottom freezer also. Very happy with this purchase.

Plenty of space and quiet

I would always loose things in the old refrigerator, so we went for space this time.
The glass shelves, two drawers, and the door units gives us plenty of space for when the grandkids visit.
The only time we hear it, is when its making ice.

We love the look and features of this fridge. It is one of the more basic models, but that is one thing we love - keeping it simple! Holds plenty of food and is easily seen by all!

Nice fridge....freezer super roomy! Only bad thing is ice maker makes too much noise. Could also use one extra half drawer.

Good Fridge

I bought this fridge because the Samsung one that I wanted to get was no longer being produced, so this was my second choice. It is a good fridge, works well, and has not had any problems, though to be fair, I've only been using it for a couple of months. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are that I really don't like dealing with the stainless steel finish (I didn't realize how many fingerprints they show) and I don't like not having a cheese/meat drawer.
