Solid printer

I am pleased overall with this printer. It has net my needs well and made working from home much more convenient. It has one downside: photos. I find the colors washed out a bit, the images not quite as sharp as my last printer, and there are definite vertical lines in the photos. You don't see them casually, but you see them if looking critically, as you might when you are preparing a gift for someone or printing for a keepsake. Other than that, it prints, copies, and scans very well. It is easy to send print jobs from your phone, and it stays online, unlike other wireless printers I have used. I recommend this printer unless your chief use is photos.

So Far So Good

I love this Color Ink Jet Printer so far. The Print Head on Other Ink Jet Printer that I have had eventually clogged and I had to scrap the printers. So this is my first Brother Ink Jet Printer and I like it very much. I have printed several hundred pages with NO Problems. I like having separate Ink Cartridges for each color. I bought a Brother MonoChrome Laser Printer for high volume printing where I do not need color.

Economical Ink

This is my first Brother product. It's a lightweight compared to my old and very reliable HP 3210 AIO. I am slowly mastering the Brother and loving how the ink is lasting so far! I have been unable to print envelopes even though I have followed the videos to a "t" but I'm hoping to eventually find a way to do that. After a print miscue, I've ha to be careful to make sure the ink buffer is empty or it will print a sheet unexpectedly. It's not as handy when it comes to printing photos of various sizes, but it does an acceptable job with the photos. Overall, I'm pleased with the printer as it was reasonably priced with good features and great ink-life.
