I have had several color printers over the years and the MFV-J895DW does the best job of color

Happy with our Brother printer

We like that it is easy to use and very easy to replace the ink cartridges and they are not as expensive as our old printer cartridges. Also it doesn't take up too much room on our computer desk, which is a big plus. Love the Copy and Scan features. I no longer have to make time to run to our local post office and pay for copies of documents I need to keep on file.

Not happy with another brand printer I had, I did some research and decided to purchase a Brother MFC-J895DW as a replacement. The Brother printer has worked great and given us no issues. Setup was easy, including adding it to our wireless network, so that it could be accessed by multiple devices. Printing has been clear in both black and white, as well as color. Changing cartridges is simple and they are reasonably priced. Overall, we are very happy with the performance of the MFC-J895DW and certainly recommend it.

good unit for occasional use

unit is on quick sleep so it awakes fast for quick printing. Probably does cost ink consumption in this ready vs deep sleep mode. Footprint is good but doesn't matter as rather have a good feed tray taking up vertical space. Scanning and printing is slower than average. Paper tray "falls out" when pulling out tray for paper refill. Tray does not have icon for envelope orientation Always guess the wrong way

The product was very easy to set up and start using right away. It works well and I especially like that I can feed multiple sheets for scanning. The print quality is excellent.
