Over Priced Ink

Brother printers have been reliable for the most part; However, I picked one up for two reasons - the size fit the space I had plus the ink was reasonably priced. However, recently the price for their ink doubled so I found an alternative. I was using the alternative for several months until a firmware upgrade it made me complete and now all off brand cartridges now show as an error and you can only use the ink Brother provides. Well Brother…you now have lost a loyal customer and I will do my best to spread the word to other hard working Americans who need every dollar we earned.

Abosolute garbage

Bought so I could print on cardstock. Ive only been able to print maybe 10 total over its lifespan. other colors continue to get used up despite only printing in B/W. Print quality is absolutely terrible. I cannot be more displeased with my purchase. I wanted a simple machine that would perform a simple task and this one somehow fails to deliver on any of them. I don't even print all that often! Maybe a couple times a month, and yet that is still too much to ask.

Brother has gone downhill

Have always had good luck with Brother printers in the past, so was glad to find this one. Sorry I did. Goes thru ink like crazy. And I have never had a printer of any brand stop and tell me it needs to cool down for up to 10 minutes before it continues. Not acceptable!

Reliable!

This Brother printer is smaller than my previous HP printer but works better. It is very efficient and the quality of the printing and scanning is terrific. It was very easy to set up.

I like it because it's so strong. I have a bunch of electronic test equipment on top of it, and since I dont copy, it supports all that weight no problem.
