[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy to say that this streamline microwave accommodates everything we need to heat, melt and defrost. Even works well with our microwave corn popper. Would never go back to larger models.

Keepin’ the faith

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our over-the-range vent with the low profile OTR vent/microwave to match a new oven. (We bought the new range after an accident damaged oven door.) Although our stand alone microwave and previous OTR vent work perfectly, the low profile outperforms both. This was a pleasant surprise (faster, quieter performance). We do not typically “cook” with a microwave, but cannot deny their usefulness. This microwave it is visually cleaner than our previous venting system. It’s actually quite sleek looking. Being “low profile” fits our space very well without obstructing cooking surface space of oven while still able to fit full size plates or dishes. The duality of microwave and venting is so convenient. It is also efficient to do a quick microwave task (ex: soften butter, melt chocolate, etc) while never leaving the oven while cooking family meals, or baking for the holidays. Time will tell if my kids will be inspired by the low-profile microwave attributes to clean up after their cooking mishaps. Keeping the faith.

So compact!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this low profile microwave to replace a big Samsung one. I love the low profile. It gives me plenty of room above my stove to take off the covers on my pots and pans without hitting the bottom of the microwave.

Perfect low profile microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a low profile microwave because I do a lot of canning, and the high heat was damaging to my old microwave. This is about 8 inches higher from the stove top, so it’s perfect. It is deeper than my previous microwave, so it sticks out about two inches further, making it a little harder to access the cabinet above, but I’m tall, so I’m ok with that. Plenty of room inside for everything I use a microwave for, reheating a dinner plate, heating tea or coffee, and steaming vegetables.

Love the minimum space and the powerful vent fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this microwave since August 2022, only have one complaint. The labels for each button option have worn away. People visiting have no idea which button is the start, open door, vent fan or lights button. Wish these were etched into the buttons instead of a disappearing label. Would still give this a six star if it was available. Quiet and easy to keep clean. Thanks Kitchen Aid for your innovations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Volume and tone are so low that it is hard to find out if the food is done.

Sleek, useable space, but loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the microwave. It’s roomy enough for most things. It’s low profile does gives the cook some space to see over the pots and pans whereas a regular one would be too close to the stove. Only problem with this is that the “whisper quiet” description is not accurate at all, I mean this sucker at 500cfm is loud. So you can forget about “cooking without distractions” like it describes on the website. The noise level at different speed setting doesn’t make that big of a difference, it’s still loud but better than having smells linger around the kitchen.

Great looking, a bit less than optimal functioning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the low profile and light and fan features, and a very good-looking product, as well. However, power seems a bit lacking as it takes longer to reheat foods than the ancient Kenmore that I replaced. And default audible signal volume is waaaaay too low! Internal controls slightly inconvenient.
