Great Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and must say I am loving this microwave. The ability to be able to heat two things at a time, I also love the tone noise it makes to let you know that the heating process is complete. It heats well.

Not Happy

My second microwave of this model has died. The first one lost all power after 14 months. I replaced the fuse and still nothing. It was out of warranty, so I replaced it with the same model in Nov. 2018 thinking maybe we just got a bad one and it would be a quick replacement as all the mounting points were the same. Now the second one at 14 months has electrical arching behind the control panel and is putting of a strong ozone odor and smoke. Maybe I have bad luck with nice looking microwaves, but two failures at approximately the same age is suspicious. Of course it is out of warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 2011 model of this same unit quit working so replaced with updated one. Well...still a few problems not improved. Fan on medium speed doesn’t sound right. Lighting should be all LEDs no matter what price you pay. I pop corn from kernels in a silicone popper, and like previous unit, can only pop 2 batches of 3 minutes each before unit has to “rest” before popping any more. Like the overall size of unit as it is not as close to stove top.

Open on top!!?

This microwave is ok, I am very dissatisfied with the top part which is open allowing dust and dirt to get in, this is installed above the stove! How am I supposed to clean inside these gaps? I’m even concerned with grease and bugs even getting in!
Can there be a mesh or something to cover that??

Boke in less than a year...very disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn't have bought a whirlpool microwave if I would have known that at 9 months it would break. They should have immediately offered to send me a new one but instead I have to wait for them to send someone to try and fix it.
