I bought this 6 years ago . Yesterday it stopped heating. My cheap sharp microwave 12 years old is still running. I checked my fuse box and everything on the microwave (whirlpool) and can't find the problem. Get ready for this to stop working in 6 years.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is just satisfactory. The control panel is inconvenient, confusing and "labor intensive", the clock is unnecessarily complicated to set & reset, the microwave door is flimsy and the reheat function and the fresh vegetable cooking function are inaccurate and difficult to judge. I bought this out of necessity; the local appliance store had very few models in stock.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Whirlpool after owning my previous Whirlpool microwave for over 20 years. The old one still worked perfectly, but the interior finish was wearing away, so it was time for an upgrade. I find that Whirlpool makes the most reliable appliances of all other brands I have owned and I choose them first.

Nice machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace an eight-year-old Whirlpool microwave. It does everything as well as the old one except it's a bit smaller (no big deal) and the fan is much noisier than the old one and with far fewer options to reduce the noise. Other than the fan noise it's great.
