Good features but weak fan

I wish that the fan had a bit mire cfm to handle the smoke that the stove generates. Otherwise a hood unit.

Safety Issue - Defective Lightbulb & Glued Base

Microwave works great, but there is an extreme flaw that is a severe safety issue.
The lightbulb on this unit runs extremely hot, chances are it's an incandescent and NOT a halogen. On top of this, the manufacturer has glued the bulb in place (see pictures). To top it off, on trying to replace the dangerously hot bulb, the base completely separated from the glass, which is going to result in a costly service call and repair.
Absolutely unacceptable manufacturing practices and a dangerous/ faulty product, I'm lucky this did not cause a fire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

OK unit for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this to replace a 20+ year over the range microwave. A friend and I were able to install it without a great deal of difficulty. All of the functions seem to work OK once we got familiar with the menus. The keypad selections are quite a bit fewer that on our old unit and we are still not too happy with the limited reheat selections. The cooking "cheat sheet" is definitely minimalist.

Decent unit

Excellent product

I like the wire shelf within the microwave as it gives me additional options. The only draw back as with all of the microwaves on the market is the wattage. My previous whirlpool microwave had the same features but the wattage was consistent.
