Features I will miss from our old unit

The only "improvement" I want is more "automatic time buttons", such as pressing 1 for 1 minute on High, pressing 2 for 2 minutes, etc., etc. Our replaced unit had that feature that we liked. I know it's petty, but some shortcuts were nice. Now, we have to enter 2, 0, 0 for 2 minutes, that's 3 buttons versus 1 and with buttons, there are greater chances for hitting the wrong one.

Dissapointed really

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was excited to get this over the range Microwave, but now installed and using there are shortcomings. Light over the cooking surface is very very dim. It needs a daylight type bulb to proper illuminate the cooking surface. This unit was installed to be vented through the roof. Unfortunately this Whirlpool unit does not pull enough CFM to remove moderate steam from cooking into the vent. Some things noted during the service provider installation. The venting system is made from razor thin metal and was easily deformed. The installer had to "reform" it just to get it into the ductwork. Afterwards we checked the filter, its installation taking it off to check the fit as it did not seem quite right. This is another area this needs engineering. The fit for the filter and general construction is less than satisfactory. I am not sure what Whirlpool engineered here but it is not what we expected. As far as the Microwave functionally it works OK but would have to say do your homework where you can. I am hoping Whirlpool does contact us.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a Great Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Added to the house I had purchased, not really happy with it, the wire rack in the middle is in the way, very cumbersome, and has already scratched the sides of the oven, very poor design
