Easy to operate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a whirlpool that was replaced with this one. One complaint is the light in the oven is nor very bright, plus the interior is silver in color not white. Makes a difference with the light.

New Whirlpool Microwave Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought and installed this microwave oven myself about a month ago after having three GE ovens fail miserably. So far it functions perfectly and we've been very happy with it. The oven is large and powerful. The controls are intuitive and appearance is very nice. The only things I would change are minor. The installation instructions failed to mention that you should peel off the clear coating over the control panel. When it started to bubble up I contacted Whirlpool and learned that covering was temporary for shipping. Second, when the cooking cycle ends, it beeps 4 times with each beep containg 4 notes. That's 16 beeps. Two or three would be sufficient. We'll see if this oven lasts, my last Whirlpool microwave oven lasted 20 years. The three GR ovens lasted less that 18 months each on average; and repair costs exceed the value of the oven.
