It Works As Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and it is working good. The positive for me is the fact you can turn the turn table off. The light under it is dimmer than I expected but nothing that has stopped me from loving it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Applicance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a builder provided appliance. It seems to be very efficient and works very well. I was a bit taken aback by the metal shelf in the unit. I don't think I will be using that shelf so as to avoid any sparking should it erroneously not be properly set.

Installer did great job given Whirlpool does not have standard wall fitting so everything had to be redone and re-drilled/mounted again even just to replace existing Whirlpool unit.
More flimsier build and materials plus noisier than previous unit and fan venting not as efficient ( even metal had to be custom cut to fit ).
No instructions or owners guidance or trouble shooting information with unit or at the Whirlpool website for this model !!

Just to restart ( screen goes blank) after power outage requires (house circuit) breaker switch turned off and then on - but this was found by trial and error as no instructions anywhere !
Also asked how long this new microwave would last-as old one did 16 years - but expected life is not given so assume short and Whirlpool wants to sell extended warranties and 'service contracts' too.
Then after install and product registration received a lot of unsolicited e-mails from Whirlpool on microwave features and use and manuals, but NOTHING advertised for this model was at the website. Wasted a lot of time searching-- and looking at inapplicable videos and finding wrong model manuals/owner guidance as you just go around in circles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
